Step 1:

We design the MuscleSlab to suit a client’s specific requirements and include:

  • Meets all Council requirements
  • Australian Standards for loadings
  • Geotech investigation results (includes a GEOViz report which is a pictorial representation of site information)
  • Architectural plan and layout
  • Electrical, heating and plumbing inserts to suit planning for kitchens, bathrooms and laundry
  • A garage or additional outbuildings if required.

Step 2:

We screw in flexible tubular steel piles fitted with patented, multi-turn, helix-screw tips.

  • Structurally much better than a slab without piles
  • Tubular steel piles are more ductile than concrete filled piles providing additional flex
  • Driven non-ductile monolithic piles such as timber or concrete have little flexibility with ground movement
  • Driven monolithic piles cause vibrations during installation while installation of tubular steel piles result in no vibration
  • Screw piles result in no soil waste at the surface thus providing little disturbance to suspect ground below
  • Environmentally conscious as excess lengths may be cut and rewelded for use elsewhere
  • All materials commonly sourced for speed and cost saving.
  • All Screw Piling is done by Expert Approved Contractors.

Step 3:

We create the formwork platform and set thermal foam inserts in place.

  • Vapour barrier to protect against rising damp
  • Foam blocks provide superior thermal insulation for the home against ground temperatures
  • Conduits installed to suit your layout plan
  • Prefabricated steel reinforcements and high strength concrete create the ribbing mathematically calculated to deliver optimum strength to the slab
  • All materials are locally available material sources from local suppliers
  • Materials are chosen for speed and economy

Step 4:

We pour a MuscleSlab on flexible feet.

  • Ready to build single layer ribbed slab is strong and quick to build using less concrete than a double slab system
  • Suitable for any size house or garage with the slab modules configured to your desired footprint.
  • The 12Lean MuscleSlab being suitable for single storey brick veneer or timber framed and clad tiled roof house
  • The 16Heavy MuscleSlab being suitable for double storey brick and concrete slab construction with brick veneer or timber framed and clad tiled roof construction upstairs
